One Morning at a Time

Isaiah 58:7-12

If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness

My garden in Oklahoma was welled watered and produced beautiful flowers endlessly.

God is guiding me to feed the hungry souls with his word, my testimony and my parents’ testimonies as well. He wants me to satisfy the longing for hope in the afflicted, with encouragement and prayer. That is a lot for me to fathom but, as long as I seek guidance from God in the building of this website then his purpose for me will be fulfilled. It’s not what I do, it’s what God wants to do through me and I’ll gladly let him lead.

Step by step God is guiding me through this process of reaching out to others. I was so overwhelmed with all of the work looming ahead, but this bible study is exactly what its title says, Gently God Guides. I now know that all I have to do is walk into my office, sit down at my desk, and pray for God to direct my path.

I am not to worry about tomorrow for tomorrow God will guide me again.

I don’t have to worry about my efforts becoming fruitless for God does not fail.

I am learning to listen. I am learning to let go and let God work through me.

And it feels glorious! I am a peaceful person with a purpose and that feels wonderful. It also sounds like my friend Annie, doesn’t it (wink)?

 Your friend in Christ,

Julie
